"Little Fang" is from Avey Tare of Animal Collective's new solo project entitled, Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks. Not only is this song simply catchy but it's also super accessible for an Animal Collective-related project, though I can't say that about the rest of Enter The Slasher House. That's to be expected really, I have never been able to get into anything AC has released beginning to end without a few skips or multiple listens.

This same 'Safe' is also playing a show in Portland on April 19th with Conjjjecture, Altered Gee, Glass Fingers, and Duey Meadows at the Darkmouth Castle (on Dartmouth Street where my old dentist office was). Rumor has it this will be Glass Fingers (AKA Jesse Gertz) last show as Glass Fingers. Dundundun!

There may also be a new Safe album at said show as well.

Coma Cinema - Skate Witches (Teen Suicide cover) from Fork and Spoon's Free Love Free Download (2012)

This is Coma Cinema's sweet cover of Teen Suicide's somewhat-unbearable lo-fi track, "Skate Witches". The original does have a cool skater grrrl sample at the beginning of it... other than that though, Coma Cinema's version takes the cake!



This track comes from a free promotional mix by Fork and Spoon Records which also features a bunch of bands including Teen Suicide themselves and a bunch more I've never heard of. I highly recommend checking it out as I am doing right this very second.
