Match of the Day - Let's go Briscoe!
Jay Briscoe vs. Mark Briscoe - ROH One Year Anniversary Show (2003)
Apparently it's siblings day, so here's some real sibling fighting.
This match at ROH's first anniversary show is only one of countless times the Briscoes have fought each other in the squared circle, just last summer they were facing each other for the ROH World Heavyweight title, but this match is significant in that it is a tribute to Mark's late friend, Brock who had been killed in a car accident earlier that year. The two brothers shake hands and announce that this will be the last time the two will ever fight each other again and will soon be joining the tag team division, a division they would go on to dominate for some time.
Obviously, that whole "last time we ever fight each other" thing didn't last, but this is still an important Briscoe Brothers' match.
Spoiler alert: Briscoe wins.

Match of the Day - Cabana/Quackenbush at National Pro Wrestling Day 2013
Colt Cabana vs. Mike Quackenbush - Nation Pro Wrestling Day (2013)
Happy Pro Wrestling Day, everyone!
This is only one of many matches put on last year for the 8 hour inter-promotional NPWD event in Philly.
This years event, while not as long, was set up as a free show with all donations going to the Against Malaria Foundation. Apparently, all the money raised will go to the purchase of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets that may or may not have John Cena on them.
Watch the replay of this year's show now, here!

Song of the Day - What Child Is This?
The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die - What Child Is This? from Live at the AV Club "Xmas Under Cover" (2013)
The World is... turns the classic Christmas hymn known as "What Child Is This?" into a dark and dreary Christmas Eve nightmare.
Apparently they picked this song because the ICP Christmas song they originally wanted to cover was too hard to learn.

Match of the Day - Mr. T in his referee pj's takes on Kevin Sullivan + Santamania
Kevin Sullivan vs. Mr. T - WCW Starrcade (1994)
Tis the season for a Christmas disaster.
Part way through the match Mr. T gets his zebra shirt stuck on his hands rendering the toughest man in Chicago useless. Then the camera man falls over and T tries to pin him or something before Santa Claus comes out and stands around for too long. Eventually someone in the crowd takes Santa's hat off and reveals that he is Kevin Sullivan's wannabe Hulk Hogan brother, Dave. Dave then stuffs his Santa sack with Jimmy Hart's megaphone and clubs his brother over the head with it to help our handless hero, Mr. T win the match.
The segment ends with the crazed Kevin Sullivan seeking retribution on his jolly clad brother by beating Dave with his pants down, piledriving him, and smacking him around for a bit with the leather Santa belt. No run-in from the real Santa Claus to help Dave, no run-in from Hulk Hogan, no run-in from Hulk Hogan as Santa with muscles, no nothing. Merry Christmas.

Match of the Day - "The match is called Judy Bagwell on a pole"
Buff Bagwell vs. "Positively" Kanyon - Judy Bagwell on a pole match - New Blood Rising (2000)
...But it's Judy Bagwell on a forklift.
...But it's Judy Bagwell on a forklift.
When I think of mothers in wrestling, since it's Mother's Day here in the states, two particular incidents come to my mind. The first mother/wrestler gimmick would have to be Shelton Benjamin and the short period of time when his mother showed up on Raw to help him win some matches including one for the intercontinental title, and the other is Buff Bagwell and his mother, Judy.
Judy Bagwell first came on the scene in WCW when she was revealed to be the mystery partner of tag team champion, Rick Steiner one night on Nitro in 1998. Judy would return in 2000 via Buff Bagwell's feud with "Positively" Chris Kanyon (a DDP rip-off) which eventually culminated into this match... the Judy Bagwell on a pole match. A match that turned out to be "the foul mouth" Judy Bagwell strapped to a forklift match because, for some odd reason, Kanyon could not find such a pole that could hold Mrs. Bagwell anywhere in Canada.
Why did Buff Bagwell's mom even need to be put on a pole during this match in the first place? Answer: WCW 2000.
Judy Bagwell has actually been known to get involved in Buff Bagwell's work so much that rumor has it she got her son fired from the WWF after continually calling in to WWF headquarters complaining that Buff was getting mistreated and needed time off to heal from his injuries sustained at the hands of the APA.
Whether or not the accusations of Buff getting future endeavored by WWF are true, it is well documented how much his mother loved him. Happy Mother's Day, Judy!

Match of the Day - Raven breaks Pre-Damien Sandow's fingers
Raven vs. Aaron Stevens - Heat (2002)
Probably the most remembered moment in Aaron Stevens', now known to the little Jimmies of the WWE Universe as Damien Sandow, first run in the WWE. Raven, who had been banished to wrestle on WWE's c-list shows thanks to the dreamer back in June, decided to humiliate his poor rookie opponent by "breaking" his fingers after the match was over.
What does this have to do with Easter?
Less than a year after this, Aaron Stevens returned to WWE to take part in APA's Bar Room Brawl Invitational as the one and only, Easter Bunny!
So basically Aaron Stevens is Jesus... He suffered (as Aaron Stevens), died (as the Easter Bunny), and was buried (as Idol Stevens), but then was resurrected (as Damien Sandow)!
