Match of the Debut - The one in twenty one and one

Brock Lesnar vs. Jeff Hardy - Backlash (2002)

While I would normally honor the new WWE World Heavyweight champ (for more than 24 hours this time), Daniel Bryan for his glorious victory over not one but three former champions last night, I have decided to give the debut of the day to Brock Lesnar... the beast who conquered the Undertaker's Wrestlemania undefeated streak.

I'm not going to say if I enjoyed last night's match or not, but the streak ending was the last thing I thought would happen at Wrestlemania. But it is what it is, "The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar is now the 1 in 21-1 among all those other accomplishments he has over the years from Amateur Wrestling to Pro Wrestling to Foot-- to MMA.

Anyways, here's Brock Lesnar's first official WWF/E televised match at Backlash 2002 against Jeff Hardy - winner gets Lita's thongs. Excuse me, I mean the "2014 Hall of Famer" Amy Dumas's thongs.

Match of the Day - The only light heavyweight title match in WM history

Taka Michinoku vs. Aguila - Light Heavyweight title match - Wrestlemania XIV (1998)

How about some flippy stuff...

In the first and only Light Heavyweight Championship match, Taka Michinoku defends the gold against Aguila, a young masked wrestler from Mexico (who later wrestled unmasked as Essa Rios). These two had previously faced each other in the Light Heavyweight title tournament which Taka would later end up winning to be the inaugural Light heavyweight Champion in WWF. At the time of this match, Aguila was only 19 years old making him the youngest person to ever compete at Wrestlemania!

Match of the Day - Trish Stratus takes on her biggest fan at Wrestlemania 22

Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus - Women's Title match - Wrestlemania 22 (2006)

Some pre-Total Divas women's action featuring the obsessive fan turned deranged lunatic, Mickie James challenging the Women's champ, Trish Stratus. Not as violent as the last female wrestling match I posted but still pretty heated for WWE standards... so, not very violent at all.

This match however does include this spot by Mickie James which is super not PG (or safe for work) and has since been cut out from the match if you watch it on The Network from what I've been told.

Match of the Day - The McMahon family consoling street fight at Wrestlemania!

Shane McMahon vs. Vince McMahon - Street Fight - Wrestlemania X-Seven (2001)

What started out as Shane McMahon returning to the WWF to confront his father about the state of his mother, Linda who was in an unconscious state, turned into Shane buying WCW, WWF's biggest rival, right from under his father's feet. To make matters even worse for Mr. McMahon, Shane allowed Mick Foley, the man that Linda let officiate a six-man Hell in a Cell match which was the cause of Mr. McMahon flipping his lid at her to a point of comatose, the chance to be the special guest referee of any match he wanted at Wrestlemania. Naturally, Mick Foley picked Shane and Vince's match to be special referee not only to get under Vince's skin but also because it was right up his alley; a street fight.

Throw in some Trish Stratus and Stephanie McMahon nonsense, and this match had a bigger build and story behind it than pretty much any Wrestlemania match of this decade. Of course, the match itself was a classic Shane McMahon performs the craziest spots he can think of match but it had no shortage of detailed storyline to it whatsoever!

Match of the Day - The greatest WM match no one saw coming!

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus - World Heavyweight title match - Wrestlemania XXVIII (2012)

I can't say I expected this World Heavyweight title match featuring the indy sensation, Daniel Bryan and the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus to be as shocking as it was. For such a prestigious title to be shoved so far down the card as this was, Bryan and Sheamus made the best of it with their amazingly athletic abilities, honor for the title, as well as their wonderful showmanship. No one expected Sheamus to go all PWG, three shooting star presses in a row, no-selling a piledriver on the apron, and perform a Johnny Saint Special, but the big guy from Dublin, Ireland really impressed the crowd, everyone watching at home, and even myself that night.

Truly the greatest 18 second match of all time.

Happy April Fools day.
